Inheriting Heaven's Inheritance
1 Peter 1:4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Peter declares believers have an eternal, pure inheritance that cannot fade or defile, kept in heaven for them. The passage points to an inner, present possession awaiting realization.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the promise in 1 Peter 1:4 is not a distant estate but a statement about your state of consciousness. The inheritance described—incorruptible, undefiled, and that fadeth not away—is the very quality of your I AM when unaffected by appearances. Heaven, then, is a realm of awareness reserved within you, not a place in time you must travel to. When you dwell in that awareness, you are no longer threatened by decay, loss, or change; you are the unchanging 'you' that remains untouched by the world’s weather. The inner movement is the revelation that you are already the beneficiary of this gift; you simply awaken to it by assuming it as real. Imagination is the means by which you enter this kingdom: act as if the end is now and let the feeling of fullness fill your heart. In that moment, the outer life reflects your inner decree, and what seems to fade or spoil remains secured by your inner heaven.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and assume you are already the incorruptible inheritance. Silently declare, 'I am the incorruptible, undefiled, unfading inheritance, reserved in mind now,' and feel that truth as your present reality.
