1 Peter 1:17

Biblical Context

God, the Father, judges everyone impartially by their deeds; while you journey through this life, stay in reverent awareness of that inner law.

Neville's Inner Vision

Peter is not naming a distant judge but the I AM within you—the Father who never negotiates with personality but with the state you inhabit. When you call on that Father, you call on the one consciousness that witnesses every thought, image, and desire, and judges them by the fruit they produce. There is no favoritism in this inner court; the measure is your own sustained state. Your sojourn here is not a punishment but a laboratory for the creation of your world through imagination. The fear urged in the verse is not terror but reverent awareness: you must treat your inner life as sacred, for its movements determine your outward circumstances. By deliberately assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled and by revising the inner scene until it rings with truth, you align your consciousness with the law of your own I AM. Do not seek the world’s approval; rest in the assurance that the Father within is already judging rightly and guiding you to image and manifest what you intend.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, revise a scene that mirrors your desired outcome, and, with your eyes closed, feel the end as already here by silently affirming 'I am that I am' and imagining the situation complete.
