Angels Long To Hear Your Gospel

1 Peter 1:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Peter 1 in context

Scripture Focus

12Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
1 Peter 1:12

Biblical Context

Prophets and apostles carried the gospel, but the revelation is given to you; it is preached to you by those inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Neville's Inner Vision

Read the line as a revelation to you, not as a tale about distant speakers. The 'things' ministered by the prophets and preachers are the living states of the gospel now reported to you by those who spoke under the Holy Ghost. The angels desire to look into these things because the gospel comes as an inner harmony, a vibration your own consciousness can inhabit. In Neville’s sense, the messengers do not carry facts to the outer world; they reveal the fact of your inner state—the I AM that knows, the awareness that perceives, the love that forgives. The Holy Spirit sent from heaven is your own awakened feeling, your dominant assumption, your revision of what you accept as real. The outer event is but a mirror of your inner agreement. This passage says: you are the receiver, you are the minister, you are the audience of heaven. If you assent to this truth, you will discover that the gospel has already been proclaimed within your life, and angels themselves are drawn to witness your awakening.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, assume you have received the gospel now; repeat 'I AM' and feel the truth settling in your chest as real, then revise doubt into certainty.
