Biblical Context
The prophets searched diligently for the coming salvation and grace. The revelation was given for you, not for them alone; even angels long to look into these things.
Neville's Inner Vision
Peter reminds us that salvation is not a distant plan but a present awareness awaiting your recognition. The prophets asked what time the Spirit within them signified, and you are invited to hear that inner Spirit now. The sufferings of Christ point to the crucible by which your old self is refined, and the glory that follows is the arising of a new consciousness in which grace is already present here and now. They were not revealed for themselves alone; the things they spoke were meant for you, to be announced by those who carry the Holy Ghost into your attention. The angels desire to look into these mysteries because they are the vibration of your own becoming; the heavens are within you, and every outward event is a signpost guiding you inward. The practical truth is simple: assume the state, revise your sense of lack, and feel-it-real that you are in possession of the salvation promised through grace. Your awareness is the instrument by which revelation comes.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the grace you sought as already yours; repeat quietly, 'I am the grace now revealed,' and let that awareness settle into your body.
