Biblical Context
The passage describes ornate bases with lions, oxen, and cherubim, four brass wheels, and decorative work, forming a sacred, mobile platform for ritual measures.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within your inner sanctuary, the bases and their carvings are not mere metal but states of consciousness you inhabit. The lions and oxen at the border symbolize courage, strength, and service guarding your attention, while the cherubim guard the doorway to your deepest I AM. The four wheels, molten and connected to the base, represent the fourfold movement of thought and feeling—desire, belief, memory, and imagination—whose axles bind to the base of awareness. The mouth, chapiter, and gravings indicate form and boundary within consciousness, showing that even within your center there is order and beauty. The work is to regard your inner temple as complete now; true worship is the alignment of belief with being, not the seeking of something distant. Prophecy and promise arise when you live from the conviction that the I AM fills this temple; the divine presence is the living measure of your awareness. Practice: assume the state of the temple now, feel the presence, and let your belief harmonize with your being.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, place your attention at the base of your inner temple, and declare 'I AM present.' Revise any sense of lack into fullness and feel the divine presence as your current reality for 60 seconds.
