Within this verse lies a map of your own consciousness. The house Solomon built for the LORD is not a stone shrine but a pattern for your inner life. The sixty-cubit length speaks of sustained, unwavering attention; the twenty-cubit breadth speaks of the breadth of worship—the capacity to hold Love with discernment; the thirty-cubit height speaks of the ascent of feeling and truth within you. The porch, twenty by ten, marks the threshold you pass when you enter this temple, the boundary where reverence becomes practical alignment. The Presence of God is described as dwelling there; so too, your I AM stands at the center of your attention. By imagining the temple complete in your consciousness and feeling its reality, you are not convincing God to come; you are removing the mental obstruction that kept the divine away. The builder is you; imagination is the tool, faith and feeling doing the work of making space for God in your life. Practice this: assume the temple is already built in your mind and let that space mold your thoughts and choices to reflect Presence.
