Gold-Walled Inner Temple
1 Kings 6:15-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Solomon builds the inner temple with cedar and fills it with gold. The oracle is prepared to house the ark, and the whole house is overlaid with gold.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within me I build the temple as Solomon did—cedar walls that stand for steadfast thoughts, a cedar floor, and a ceiling that meets the light of awareness. The cedar is carved with knops and open flowers, yet its meaning is simple: I am choosing beauty and order in consciousness. In the inner oracle I place the ark of the covenant the deepest truth I know about God and myself, where it can be tended by stillness. The forepart of the temple, the place of revelation, is overlaid with pure gold, and the altar beside the oracle shines with gold as well. By overlaying the entire house with gold, I declare that divine substance fills every corner of my mind. The partition by chains of gold before the oracle marks my clear boundary of attention, separating holy intent from mere noise. When I dwell here, I am aware that the I AM is present, and worship is the continuous felt reality of this truth. The temple is complete when thought, substance, and presence are unified in gold.
Practice This Now
Assume I am already the gold-walled temple. In stillness, feel the cedar of my thoughts and the gold of divine presence covering every room, until the I AM rests in the oracle within me.
