25And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beersheba, all the days of Solomon.
1 Kings 4:24-25

Biblical Context

Solomon's realm extended widely, and peace surrounded him. Judah and Israel dwelt safely, each under their vine and fig tree.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice that this text speaks not of geography but of inner dominion. The king's region on this side of the river is the landscape of your consciousness where you refuse limitation and accept fullness. Peace on all sides is the natural atmosphere of a mind that believes it is the I AM, the presence that never forsakes you. When you feel that every state of fear, lack, or scarcity has been banished to the other shore, you begin to dwell safely 'all the days' of your Solomonic awareness. The vine and fig tree symbolize the settled comforts you allow into your interior life—the places you rest, receive, and enjoy without worry. The directive is simple: assume you reign, envision your inner domain with clarity, and permit the feeling-tone of safety to enter every moment. Your present experience is the outer form of an inner decision: you are king, and peace and provision follow.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and declare, 'I am dominion and peace now.' Vision a wide land within your mind's eye, with every need met and all voices quiet.
