Solomon's Inner Wisdom Practice
1 Kings 3:7-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Solomon, a young king, asks for an understanding heart to discern good from bad for ruling God's people. God grants wisdom and riches because the motive is service, not self.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, you are the king seated on an inner throne. Solomon's self-doubt—'I am but a little child'—reveals that the ordinary self does not know how to go out or come in; yet the I AM within you already governs. When you, as this king, request only understanding to discern good from evil, you invoke the inner law of the soul. God answers by endowing you with a wise and understanding heart, and blesses you with riches and honor as outward signs of harmony with divine order. The condition is simple: walk in the way of your inner statutes, remain loyal to your higher counsel, and your days will lengthen in proportion to that fidelity. Your life becomes the obedient echo of your inner decision. This is not history but a universal law of consciousness: your imagination, rightly tended, creates the outer order. Imagine yourself already possessing discernment, and let that reality govern every choice you make, until the outer reflects the inward throne.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, assume the throne of discernment within, and declare, 'I ask for an understanding heart to discern judgment.' Feel the certainty rising as if wisdom is already mine, and proceed from that assured state.
