Neville's Inner Vision
Within your psyche, every adversary can appear clothed in sackcloth of humility, for mercy begins when you acknowledge another as kin. The king in you—the I AM that rules your inner stage—chooses not to harden, but to revise the relation: 'Is he yet alive? he is my brother.' This is a declaration that separation is only a story your awareness has been telling. The 'brother' is another aspect of yourself, perhaps fear, anger, or resistance, asking to live in harmony with your greaterSelf. By calling the other 'brother,' you align your authority with compassion, transforming conflict into reconciliation. Mercy is not weakness; it is the sovereign act of recognizing oneness and allowing the other to remain, thus preserving your inner state. When you embody this, you restore the balance of your inner government and invite the energy of unity to flow through every decision. Imagination then becomes the instrument by which your inner king pardons, unifies, and reigns from a place of love rather than force.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine the person or issue as Ben-Hadad at your door; declare 'you are my brother' and feel the unity as if it were already true.
