1 Kings 18:7

Biblical Context

Obadiah meets Elijah on the road, recognizes him, and shows reverence.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the inner theatre of your mind, Elijah is a state of consciousness—the I AM standing in sovereign authority. Obadiah’s bow is not to a person but to the recognition that the higher self has stepped into the road of your thoughts. The meeting occurs where humility meets revelation: the humble mind, sensing the present power, yields to the inner king and thus becomes aware of its own power to command circumstance. Elijah reveals himself to the one who reverences the I AM and thereby awakens the power to fulfill a promise. The scene translates into your life as the moment you perceive that the authority you seek is already within your own awareness, and that events on your 'road' unfold as you recognize and align with that inner ruler. The true hierarchy is not earned by external titles but by the posture of mind that receives the higher state. When you persist in that recognition, you rewrite your sense of who you are and allow the promised results to appear as inevitable fruits of the inner decree.

Practice This Now

In a quiet moment, assume you are Elijah—the I AM present—meeting your current self as Obadiah. Stand in reverent acknowledgement of that higher state and declare, 'You are the I AM here.' Then revise any lack by feeling it real and allowing the inner king to govern.
