The inner word orders your next movement; the bread and water are merely potent symbols of an old state trying to reassert itself. The 'second invitation' tests whether you trust the inner decree or capitulate to external pleasures. When the LORD says, 'Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there,' the command signals a shift of consciousness—from the known path to a new vibration—and to obey is to dwell in that new state until it becomes your habitual reality. If you yield, you drift back to the old scene; if you hold, you complete the rite and carry the new self into the road you walked in. Your life changes not by the world conforming to you, but by your inward assumption turning you toward that world you now inhabit.
