The son who will reign is your higher self, trained by obedience to the inner commands of love, integrity, and steadfastness. The outward affliction of the seed of David is but a refining season for old identifications, not a final verdict on your kingship. The covenant is your decision to let consciousness reign, here and now. In that moment, the entire kingdom of your inner life is secured by awareness itself; you become the living temple whose name rests in the inner city of your heart.
