Read 1 Kings 10 in context

Scripture Focus

9Blessed be the LORD thy God, which delighted in thee, to set thee on the throne of Israel: because the LORD loved Israel for ever, therefore made he thee king, to do judgment and justice.
1 Kings 10:9

Biblical Context

The verse blesses the king as chosen and loved by God, appointed to rule Israel with judgment and justice.

Neville's Inner Vision

Blessings, the moment you hear 'delighted in thee' and 'set thee on the throne,' translate it into your inner state: God’s I AM delights in you, and by that delight you are enthroned in your own mind as ruler over the affairs you face. The throne of Israel is the place in consciousness where you exercise judgment and justice, not as a harsh external authority, but as a compassionate, discerning awareness. 'Loved forever' is not a distant promise but a permanent relationship between your I AM and your world; when you accept that you are eternally beloved, your thoughts rise into alignment with truth, and your decisions reflect lawful, fair discernment. The king you are is your higher self, summoned through faith in your inherent oneness with God. Your inner nation prospers when you insist that your life be ruled by justice and righteousness; the outer world will reflect that inner sovereignty.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and assume: I am the beloved of God, seated on the throne of my life, empowered to judge with justice. Feel the throne beneath you as a calm authority and keep this feeling until it becomes your habitual state.
