Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage states that those who stand before the king and hear wisdom are blessed, and that God loved Israel and set the king on the throne to judge and do justice.
Neville's Inner Vision
These lines are not a history lesson but a map of your inner throne. The 'happy are thy men' points to a state of consciousness in which you are aligned with the I AM and willingly hear wisdom as it arises from within. 'Stand continually before thee' invites a daily posture of awareness, a readiness to consult the inner oracle before any action. 'Hear thy wisdom' is the practice of listening to the quiet guidance of imagination when infused with faith. To be 'Blessed be the LORD thy God, delighted in thee' is the acknowledgment that the inner divinity loves and supports your creative life, and to be 'set on the throne of Israel' means you claim sovereignty over the kingdom of your thoughts and feelings, using discernment to do judgment and justice. Israel represents your inner people—your desires, beliefs, and habits—held in harmony by your consciousness. The blessing is not external favor but the realization that you are the instrument by which divine order is put into effect within your world. Imagination, rightly used, makes this inner state your outer reality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, assume the inner throne, and declare: I am the king of my inner Israel, hearing divine wisdom and ruling with justice. Feel the warmth of that throne and the clarity of guidance until it feels real.
