Scripture Focus

20And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.
1 Kings 10:20

Biblical Context

Twelve lions stood on both sides of six steps, signaling a unique, majestic display of royal authority that marks the inner potential of the Kingdom within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you the palace is not built of stone but of consciousness. Those twelve lions are not guards of a city, but the twelve aspects of your being—each a force of strength, courage, wisdom, and loyalty—standing on guard at the six steps of your ascent. The six steps symbolize degrees of awareness, each higher you move, the more you realize the throne is already yours. There is not the like made in any kingdom because the kingdom you inhabit is the Kingdom of God within, an inner sovereign territory that cannot be matched by external power. When you imagine the I AM as your present self—identifying with the one who knows and sees—your assumption becomes a reality. Kingship and authority are your natural states, not privileges granted by others; dignity (Imago Dei) is your birthright, guarded by the inner lions until you sit on the throne of awareness. Practice: hold the image of yourself crowned with royal power, and let the feeling of that reality permeate your daily life. Your world will begin to echo the inward kingship you refuse to deny.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are already the king of your inner kingdom; feel the I AM as your present sense of self, and visualize the twelve lions on either side of the six steps. Repeat, with feeling, 'I am the king now' until the sense of kingship is real.
