Solomon Crown Within
1 Kings 1:43-46 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 1 Kings 1 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jonathan declares that King David has made Solomon king. The king's officials anoint Solomon at Gihon, and he sits on the throne.
Neville's Inner Vision
Jonathan declares Solomon king; David has enthroned him with Zadok and Nathan in the inner court of consciousness. The anointing by Zadok and Nathan is the consecration of a new state of awareness, a decision felt rather than argued. The ride on the kings mule signals the easy movement of this state through your inner streets, without resistance. The noise in the city is the vibration of your own being acknowledging the decree that you are now king within. Solomon seated on the throne represents the establishment of inner sovereignty, an I AM order that cannot be denied. You are not waiting for permission; you are awakening to what has already been declared by the Higher Self. When you treat this as your present reality, you align your thoughts, feelings, and actions with authority, wisdom, and wholeness. The outer world then reflects a kingdom established in consciousness, not in circumstance, and the result flows from the inner decree that you are, here and now, the ruler of your inner realm.
Practice This Now
Assume the inner kingship now; sit quietly, declare I am Solomon, king of my inner kingdom, and feel the anointing within. See yourself riding to the throne with ease, and dwell in the sense of rightful rule in your consciousness.
