Biblical Context
Adonijah hosts a feast, but the trumpet signals a different king: David has crowned Solomon, Zadok and Nathan have anointed him, and Solomon sits on the throne. The uproar outside echoes the inner transition to rightful governance within.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this scene the city’s noise is your inner weather—the beliefs and loyalties that gather around your sense of self. Adonijah stands for the old self still clinging to a banquet of appearances. The trumpet is a conscious conviction breaking through, saying, a new reign has begun. Jonathan’s news cannot be disputed: your I AM has declared Solomon king within your mind. The anointing by Zadok and Nathan shows that the inner wisdom has been recognized and set in motion, and Solomon rides the king’s mule into the throne of awareness. The city’s ringing is the vibrational confirmation that your inner order has shifted from unrest to reign. This is not an external event to chase; it is your present act of consciousness. You can, right now, live as king or queen in your own inner kingdom, by choosing to align belief with that which already stands on the throne of your mind.
Practice This Now
Practice: Sit quietly, breathe, and say, 'I am the I AM; I reign now in my inner kingdom.' Feel the throne of awareness settle within you and let the sense of Solomon’s crown govern your thoughts.
