The Inner Throne Is Yours
1 Kings 1:19-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
Adonijah gathers the king's supporters to claim the throne, and Solomon is not summoned. The nation watches to see who will sit on the throne after the king, signaling a crisis of rightful authority.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice how this scene mirrors your inner life. The king represents the I AM in you, the awareness that must sit enthroned in your consciousness. The gathering of oxen and captains is the restless imagination running to prove itself king, calling the ‘sons of the king’ to witness a new ruling idea. Yet Solomon—the servant of the Lord, your higher self—has not been invited. This neglect reveals a consciousness not yet using its power to establish a stable, conscious state. The eyes of all Israel upon you signify the universal attention of your mind—your thoughts, feelings, and circumstances—asking, “Who will reign in your heart?” If you neglect the rightful ruler, the old state warns that when the king sleeps with his fathers, the old self and its offspring will be counted offenders. The solution is not force but inner recognition: affirm the I AM as king, invite Solomon, and feel the throne as already occupied by the divine state. In practice, you can revise the assumption that you are ruled by fear or doubt, and consciously dwell in the feeling of the ruling presence within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the throne within. In your imagination, declare 'Solomon sits on the throne of my heart now,' and feel the peace and authority of that ruling state.
