Inner Witness Beyond Men
1 John 5:9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
This verse says that God's witness is greater than any human testimony, bearing witness about His Son.
Neville's Inner Vision
Here I remind you that the witness of men is a shadow beside the immutable testimony of God, which is your own awareness of the Son within you. The 'greater' witness is not a distant argument but the vivifying sense that the I AM is the source and measure of all you call real. When you practice, you do not barter for external proofs; you turn your attention inward until the scene on the screen of imagination returns as fact: your awareness as the living Son asserts itself as your present experience. The world’s signs bow to the inner decree; faith becomes trust in the one source that never fails. The John verse invites you to stand in the conviction that the God-witness is already true, here and now, in you. As you dwell in that recognition, every circumstance rearranges to mirror the inner truth, and the sense of separation dissolves into the unity of life.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and repeat softly, 'The witness of God within me testifies that I am the Son,' and feel that conviction as true now.
