Within you is the I AM, the eternal witness of all that exists. The promise in this verse is not a future covenant but the awareness of life that never ends, flowing as your very being. To say 'eternal life' is to acknowledge that you are now the living presence of God, not a traveler awaiting arrival. In this light, salvation becomes a misreading of distance; it is the return to consciousness—the recognition that you are the life that breathes, loves, and knows all things. Faith is trust in the vitality that you already are; covenant loyalty is staying loyal to the I AM that refuses to deny its own immortality. When you rest in that recognition, the sense of future fear dissolves and the future opens as endless living, here and now. The kingdom is not a place to reach but the state you inhabit by choosing to identify with the I AM. So, the promise unfolds as present experience: eternal life is your continuous life in God, now.
