Unction Within: Knowing All

1 John 2:20-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 John 2 in context

Scripture Focus

20But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
21I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
1 John 2:20-21

Biblical Context

You have an unction from the Holy One and know all things. Truth is your inner certainty, and lies cannot belong to what you truly know.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your unction is not a distant gift; it is the very state of I AM awakened within you. The Holy One is your awareness, the living contact by which you remember truth. When you say you know all things, you are not asserting memory alone but affirming that, in this moment, your inner faculty is functioning as perfect recall and discernment. Doubt and appearances that contradict truth arise only when you temporarily misplace yourself as a separate mind. Return to the conviction that truth is already yours, and there is no lie in what you know when you stand as the I AM. The outer world will then reflect that inner certainty, and events align with the sense that you are already informed. So revise fear by embracing the assumption: I am the unction, I know all things, and nothing but truth proceeds from my consciousness.

Practice This Now

Assume the state: 'I am the unction within; I know all things now.' Sit with that feeling until certainty saturates thoughts and begins to shape experience.
