Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
John writes to little children, fathers, and young men, speaking of forgiveness, knowing God, and strength through the word. The passage invites you to grow by shifting consciousness, not external circumstance.
Neville's Inner Vision
The epistle speaks not to distant persons but to states of your own awareness. The little children symbolize the fresh faith of I AM, and forgiveness arises when you awaken to your true identity in God. The fathers embody the awareness that has known Him from the beginning, the unchanging Source you access in moments of quiet recognition. The young men reveal the strength that comes when the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one—the habit of fear and separation. To be forgiven is to accept that sins dissolve as you affirm your oneness with the Father through awareness. To know Him from the beginning is to dwell in the eternal presence within you, not as doctrine but as living I AM. To be strong and overcome the wicked one is to refuse fear and align with the living Word within. This is growth as a shift in inner climate, where every circumstance reflects your inner state and your confidence in the eternal.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise: I am forgiven now; I know the Father within; I am strong, for the word of God abides in me. Feel it as real and present.
