Walking Your God-Given Calling

1 Corinthians 7:17 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Corinthians 7 in context

Scripture Focus

17But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.
1 Corinthians 7:17

Biblical Context

God distributes a unique calling to each person, and one should walk in that calling. This inner order applies across all communities.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the language of Paul’s verse lies a simple, radical truth: God distributes a calling to every man, and the wise turn inward to find where their I AM already stands fulfilled. The 'called' is not a schedule to chase but a state to inhabit. When you acknowledge that you are the one God has placed in a particular work, you align your entire consciousness with the intention behind your experiences. If drift or lack appears, it is only a misalignment of your inner state, a thought not yet settled as fact. Return to the conviction that your vocation exists now within your being, and imagine yourself walking as ordained in every church of your mind. As you dwell in that assumed state, Providence unfolds gently—paths, people, and openings synchronizing with your inner position. A community that seems fractured yields to unity when each soul recognizes its own inner call and honors the call in others. The outer world becomes a faithful mirror of your inner alignment; live from the end, feel the I AM as your working reality, and watch transformation follow.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the state, 'I am walking in my God-given calling now.' Feel it as real and rest in the certainty that the outer life will reflect this inner truth.
