Inner Judgment, World Within

1 Corinthians 6:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Corinthians 6 in context

Scripture Focus

2Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
1 Corinthians 6:2-3

Biblical Context

The saints will judge the world and angels; believers already possess an innate authority to discern and decide, even over small matters in life.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the awakened, the verse declares a state of consciousness, not a future court of law. Saints are the inner qualities you name I AM; the world and even angels are only the stage and symbols of your inner judgments. If you believe you will judge the world tomorrow, you must first judge your present thoughts, feelings, and reactions. In Neville’s terms, the world you see is the dream you inhabit; your awareness, not external authority, creates the scenes. You are the sovereign perceiver whose decisions refine the entire drama. When you align with the I AM and feel you have already disposed of conflict in you, you will notice the world reflects that order. The 'how much more' asks you to trust that the smallest matters, seen from consciousness, obey the same inner law as world-shaping events: your inner state governs outward appearances. Practice from the quiet, intimate certainty that you are the judge—angels and all—right now.

Practice This Now

Assume you are the inner judge of the day. In quiet moments, revise a current concern by affirming, 'I am the one who judges this situation from the I AM now,' and feel it real as if the decision were already established.
