Inner Temple Law
1 Corinthians 6:1-20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul urges settling disputes within the church rather than before outsiders. He proclaims believers to be temples of the Holy Spirit, washed, sanctified, and justified, and says the body is for the Lord.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this chapter your outer court is a reflection of an inner ordering. Do not seek law in the world with a brother, for the saints are the rightful judges of the inner world, and you, as a state of consciousness joined to the Lord, possess the authority to discern what pertains to life. Remember that the saints shall judge the world, and that you are already the one who judges in the realm of awareness. The lists of unrighteousness are not about others, but about states you once allowed to rule you; you are washed, sanctified, justified by the Name of Jesus and by the Spirit of God. All things are lawful to the self, yet not all things are expedient, for the body is not for fornication but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost within you; you are not your own. If you join yourself to a lesser state, you fracture your unity with the Lord. Therefore, turn your inner attention toward the one Spirit you share with the Lord, and let your inner judgments reflect the temple you truly are.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Assume you are the one who settles every matter by inward authority. Close your eyes, see the other person as a facet of your own state, and revise the scene until harmony fills the inner temple.
