Inner Judgment From Within
1 Corinthians 5:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul, though absent in body, says he is present in spirit and has already judged the deed as though he were there. The verse points to accountability and the power of inner discernment.
Neville's Inner Vision
Paul writes from a consciousness that never truly leaves; absent in body means the outer scene cannot measure truth, for the I AM is always present. The 'judgment' is not punishment from without but an inner verdict issued in the imagination that aligns you with what you desire. When you judge in spirit, you release the loop of the outer scene and begin to act as though the correction has already occurred. In Neville's terms, the deed represents an inner habit you have accepted; the remedy is to revise it by assuming a state of harmony, justice, and truth within. Judgment becomes a turning toward your own righteousness rather than condemnation of others. By standing in the I AM, you acknowledge accountability as grace, not guilt, and repentance as a shift in your state of mind. Once you inhabit the revised state, your outer circumstances follow, for imagination is the causal power that forms reality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state of the observer who has already judged rightly; feel the certainty that this matter is resolved in the I AM. Dwell there until the feeling of restoration becomes your present experience.
