Hidden Wisdom Within: Inner Crucifixion
1 Corinthians 2:7-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 1 Corinthians 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage speaks of God's wisdom as a hidden, eternal truth inaccessible to worldly rulers, and notes that had they understood it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this passage the apostle declares that the wisdom of God is a mystery hidden from the rulers of this world; it is not learned through outward power but revealed in the inner life. The hidden wisdom is the awareness that the I AM is the source of all understanding, and that God ordained this glory before the world began. The so called princes of this world cannot grasp it, for their sight is set on appearances; their knowing would have prevented the crucifixion of the Lord of glory, if they truly perceived. For you, the point is to realize that your present conditions conceal a reality already seeded in consciousness. The glory spoken of is your inner state becoming visible in outer form. When you know the wisdom is within, you begin to act from that inner conviction rather than seeking proofs outside. Practice assumes that the end is already done, feels it as real, and lets the world mold itself to that truth. The inner movement transforms the outer, and you become the Lord of glory in your own life.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: In stillness, affirm I AM the hidden wisdom of God in this moment, and feel the end already accomplished. Revise any outward limitation by dwelling in that inner glory until perception shifts.
