Hidden Wisdom Within
1 Corinthians 2:6-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
This passage contrasts worldly wisdom with God's hidden wisdom, stating the latter is prepared for our glory. Worldly rulers do not understand it, and if they did, they would not crucify the Lord of glory.
Neville's Inner Vision
We are told that true wisdom is not the wisdom of this world or its princes, but the wisdom of God spoken as a mystery. In Neville’s voice, this means the wisdom is not out there to be earned by cleverness, but within as the I AM—awareness that you are the dwelling place of the divine. The hidden wisdom was ordained before the world for your glory, meaning your present sense of self is already laced with divine potential, awaiting recognition. The princes of this world do not know it, for they measure life by form and power; had they perceived this inner wisdom, the crucifixion drama of the Lord of glory would never have occurred in consciousness because the false self would remain unrecognized. Therefore your task is to turn attention from outward rulers to the inward lead of God within. Speak from that state: the wisdom of God in a mystery is mine now, unfolding as my experience. As you dwell in that inner certainty, your life becomes the manifestation of that hidden wisdom, transcending the world’s merely passing judgments.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Sit quietly and assume you are the I AM, the living wisdom of God within. Repeat 'I am the wisdom of God in a mystery' and feel the truth as present, right now.
