Judging All, Judged by None: Inner Discernment

1 Corinthians 2:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Corinthians 2 in context

Scripture Focus

15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
1 Corinthians 2:15

Biblical Context

A spiritual person exercises discernment about life’s appearances, yet is not subject to others' judgments.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice that to be spiritual is to stand in the light of your own I AM, the awareness that does the judging without being judged in return. The verse does not speak of superiority over others but of the state of consciousness that can discern the truth in appearances while remaining untouched by the world's verdicts. When you assume the posture of the spiritual man, you don't reject others; you simply stop letting their judgments govern your inner peace. Their opinions arise from their own line of sight, not from your being. You judge all things by inner discernment—your sense of what is real to you in the moment—yet you are judged by no man because you are not living from a separate self that needs validation. See yourself as the I AM that remains constant while forms change. Your task is to return to that center, confirming your true nature, and let external judgments dissolve as mist before the sun of awareness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and rest in the I AM. Assume the state: 'I am the spiritual man who judges all things from inner discernment and is unseen by any man's judgment.'
