Spirit Speech Beyond Wisdom

1 Corinthians 2:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Corinthians 2 in context

Scripture Focus

13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1 Corinthians 2:13

Biblical Context

This verse says we speak not from human wisdom but from the Holy Spirit, who teaches by aligning inner understanding with spiritual insight.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider that the speaker within Corinthians is not a mere mental argument but the I AM alive within you, the Holy Ghost moving through your imagination. When you hear words which the Holy Ghost teacheth, understand that every comparison is an inner alignment: you judge events not by worldly patterns, but by a spiritual standard that only your inner man can discern. The I AM realizes that man's wisdom is the echo of your former state; the Holy Spirit speaks as your present consciousness, redefining what appears as conflict into harmony. The apostolic proclamation invites you to switch your source of speech from the intellect to the inner tutor; your mental conversations become a school of perception in which symbols are understood as symbols of being. By imagining and feeling from the end the already present spiritual reality you hear the Spirit commentary on your life, and your acts match that inner revelation. Thus the Spirit teaches you to speak as God speaks within you, transforming outward appearances by inward conviction.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Sit in quiet, place your hand on your heart and declare I AM the speaker within me; the Holy Ghost teaches me now. Then revise a lingering doubt by imagining a scene where the inner truth already governs the outcome and feel it as real.
