Verse 2:12 invites you to recognize that the Spirit you have received is not from the world, but from God, and it is through this Spirit that you discern the gifts already given. In Neville terms, the Spirit is your present I AM, the inner state that makes knowledge possible. To know what God freely gives is to dwell in the assumption that such gifts are already yours. The world’s spirit is fear and scarcity; the God-spirit is trust, grace, and inspired possibility. When you revise your inner conversation to align with abundance, you do not plead for gifts—you name them as your current reality and feel them real now. Imagination creates, and your I AM responds by reconfiguring circumstances to match your inner conviction. Practice: assume you are already blessed, and feel the relief, gratitude, and certainty. The outer world follows the tone of your inner I AM, revealing the gifts that have always been yours by divine design.
