Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God reveals the deep things of God to us by His Spirit, and human knowledge comes from the inner man; true knowing of God is found within, not in external things.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the text, Paul declares that all profound knowledge flows from the Spirit who searches the depths. Your ordinary knowing—the grammar of facts and surface meanings—is the 'spirit of man.' Yet the things of God are known only by the Spirit of God who dwells within you. This is not a distant doctrine but a present state you can assume. The Spirit's search is a commissioning of your consciousness to stop leaning on outward evidence and to awaken to the reality already present as I AM. When you inhabit the inner realm, you are not learning new information; you are recognizing what you already are: a being whose awareness is God’s own consciousness. The inner discernment transcends logic and tradition, revealing the deeper motives, values, and purposes hidden in your heart. Your role is to cultivate quiet trust in the Spirit's leading, revise any sense of separation, and feel that the deep truth of God is intimate and accessible now. As you dwell in that conviction, you will find that your external circumstances begin to reflect the inner revelation you have chosen.
Practice This Now
Practice: assume the Spirit within now and feel it as your immediate knowing. Repeat 'The Spirit of God within me reveals all things now' until it lands as a felt reality.
