Read 1 Corinthians 16 in context

Scripture Focus

11Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
1 Corinthians 16:11

Biblical Context

The verse urges honoring a messenger and escorting him in peace so he may join the speaker with the brethren.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you is a faithful messenger—an aspect of your being that carries truth, invitation, and connection to the whole. Do not despise him; instead, prepare a peaceful reception in the theater of your mind. Imagine escorting him forth as you would a guest to the inner hall where your I AM awaits. When you declare, 'I look for him with the brethren,' you affirm that your consciousness is already in unity: the various parts—desire, virtue, memory—assemble as one company under the indivisible I AM. The messenger's coming is a movement of consciousness toward wholeness, not an external event. By treating him with dignity and peace, you dissolve judgment and awaken the inner community to witness his arrival. Your Imago Dei—the divine image within—receives him, and this reception seeds actual fulfillment in your life. The steadier your belief in this peaceful convergence, the more swiftly the messenger is drawn into experience, accompanied by the brethren who testify to your inner unity.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the messenger is already present; say, 'I do not despise you, I conduct you forth in peace,' and feel the unity with the brethren as you welcome him.
