Scripture Focus

10Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
1 Corinthians 16:10

Biblical Context

Paul says to welcome Timotheus without fear, for he is doing the Lord’s work just as I do. This shows how inner vocation and outward service share a single purpose.

Neville's Inner Vision

Set this verse in your inner room: Timotheus is a living state, a faithful impulse of the I AM arising within you. As Timotheus comes into view, you must welcome him without fear, for he is the work of the Lord in action—just as you are, when you remember that the I AM is the boss of your world. The work of the Lord is not a distant task; it is the steady expression of your consciousness in activity—obedient, faithful, practical. When you identify with this inner disciple, fear dissolves, and your outer scene aligns to reflect your inner conviction. Paul does not argue about a person; he shows the unity of purpose: you and Timotheus, the voice of your deeper vocation, walking together in the same Lord's business. Therefore, the moment you feel the approach of this state, treat it as present fact: you are already engaged in the Lord’s work, and your reality will follow the living I AM.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the feeling of Timotheus being with you, fearless and active in the Lord's work; declare softly, 'I am the work of the Lord becoming visible now.'
