Open Door, Open Heart
1 Corinthians 16:1-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul instructs a weekly, proportional gift for the saints, to be prepared in advance so there are no urgent collections when he arrives. He intends to send trusted messengers with the gift to Jerusalem and to travel with the community if possible.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the collection is not a charity of coins but the arrangement of your inner wealth. The 'great door' opened unto me is the inner door you open by faith—opportunity follows your agreement with I AM. The adversaries are not armies at your gate but fears and doubts; stand firm in the faith, for faith makes your inner reality solid. Timotheus and Apollos are facets of your own being—discipline and teaching—sent ahead to your community; honor their timing, yet do not let fear stall your forward movement. Stephanas and the firstfruits of Achaia signify your early fruits of service; submit to such workers in your life and labor with them in love. Let all your actions be governed by charity, the living bridge between intention and manifestation. When you align your plan with inner conviction, a door is opened, and you walk through as the generous, creative power that you are.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: On waking, assume the mind 'I AM prosperous' and lay by in your inner store as you would on the first day of the week; then imagine sending your liberality ahead to Jerusalem, feeling the peace of abundant supply.
