Biblical Context

Paul testifies that Jesus was seen by him last, as one born out of due time, signaling an inward awakening rather than mere chronology. The verse invites us to view appearances as inner states of consciousness where the I AM is seen within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the 'last' seeing as a moment when your awakening is complete inside your own consciousness. The Christ Jesus that Paul says he saw is not distant history but the unveiled awareness within, the I AM looking through your eyes. When he speaks of being seen, he speaks of a present recognitions: the self that was waiting outside is now acknowledged inside, and this birth is described as 'out of due time' because it arrives not by effort but by aligning with a state that already exists. The appearance to Paul thus becomes a pattern for every seeker: shift from seeking a future manifestation to acknowledging the present witnessing of Life within. If you restore your awareness to the fact that you are the one who sees, then what you sought appears as a natural expression of that inner presence. The page becomes a mirror where the inner self beholds the inner Christ, and the outer world arranges itself to reflect that truth. Your consciousness rises into a new form of life, and your life begins to correspond to the inner reality you now acknowledge.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume 'I am seen by the Christ within me now.' Feel the inner gaze as a present reality and let the sense of a new birth rise in you, then revise doubt by resting in that awareness until it feels true.
