Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville, the 'he' who is seen is the I AM within you, awakening to itself. The order—James first, then the apostles—describes the inner sequence of consciousness: James stands for unwavering faith in the self, the witness within; the apostles are the gathering of your faculties—thought, feeling, and imagination—recognizing the truth and acting from it. When you accept that this visitation is already inside, you stop chasing external appearances and begin revising your state inwardly. The James-witness manifests as a quiet certainty; the later appearance of all the apostles confirms your mind's parts moving in harmony with truth. You are not awaiting salvation; you are recognizing that the inner I AM has always appeared, and your world is a reflection of this inner conviction. The practice is to treat this as your present experience, not a future event, until your whole being is saturated with it.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Sit quietly, breathe, and assume the inner visitation already present: I am seen by James within me. Feel all my faculties—reason, emotion, and imagination—united in this truth.
