Moment of Inner Transformation
1 Corinthians 15:50-53 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 1 Corinthians 15 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom. A mystery is unveiled: we shall all be changed in an instant, putting on incorruption and immortality.
Neville's Inner Vision
See the trumpet as the awakening of your own I AM. The kingdom is not a place but a state of consciousness you presently inhabit or imagine. Flesh and blood are symbols of your current alignment with limitation; they cannot inherit your true nature, which is incorruptible. When Paul speaks of a mystery, he invites you to become aware that change occurs in an instant of inner decision, a moment when you no longer identify with the old self. The twinkling of an eye is a figurative description of surrendering to a new premise: the assumption that you are now, here, incorruptible. The resurrection is your readiness to live as the new you, not after death but as the present you choose to inhabit by I AM awareness. The last trump is the call to wake from the dream of limitation and to clothe yourself with immortality by a simple act of imagination—the settled, repeated conviction that you are that which you seek. Therefore, persist in the feeling-tone until it feels true in your bones.
Practice This Now
Assume the state of incorruptibility now. Feel the inner image shift as you quietly repeat, 'I am the incorruptible I AM' until it feels real.
