1 Corinthians 15:5-8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage lists Jesus’ post-resurrection appearances: to Peter, the twelve, over five hundred at once, James, all the apostles, and finally Paul.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the Neville framework, these appearances are not historical events but movements of your own consciousness. Cephas, the twelve, five hundred witnesses, James, all the apostles, and finally Paul are inner states you may assume at will. Each appearance marks a shift of awareness: a new certainty that the I AM, your living God within, has risen to inhabit every thought. The loud chorus of witnesses reveals the universality of your inner vision; the outer world is but a mirror of what you now accept inwardly. Paul’s late appearance—born out of due time—teaches that transformation can arrive when your sense of self shifts from an old pattern to a new life. To practice, treat yourself as already witnessing the risen story: imagine the scene, feel the victorious presence of the Self, and declare, I am risen now, letting the imagery rearrange your beliefs and inaugurate a future that begins this instant. Remember: imagination creates reality, and every seen is a sign of your awakening.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, with a calm breath, imagine the risen Self appearing to Cephas, then to the circle of witnesses, then to five hundred, then to James and the apostles, finally to you. Rest in the felt certainty that this is your present consciousness.
