Rising Into The Spiritual Body
1 Corinthians 15:42-44 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 1 Corinthians 15 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul describes the resurrection as a transformation from corruption, dishonor, and weakness to incorruption, glory, and power, moving from a natural body to a spiritual one—a change of inner state.
Neville's Inner Vision
These lines are not about corpses but about the states of your consciousness. Resurrection is a shift in what you deem real; it happens when you accept the I AM as the sole life. It is sown in corruption—the old you clinging to limitation; it is raised in incorruption—the unchanging awareness that you are beyond decay. It is sown in dishonor—the mind that belittles itself; it is raised in glory—the mind that sees itself as radiant. It is sown in weakness—the belief in separation from power; it is raised in power—the awakening to your unity with God. It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body—two forms of awareness, not two separate beings. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body—yet they are different states of consciousness. The invitation is practical: assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled, and you will know the higher body here and now. The resurrection is the inner conversion of your entire being into the awareness of your eternal self.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, place a hand on your chest, and repeat: 'I am raised in incorruption; I am the spiritual body.' Feel that truth moving through you until it becomes your immediate sense of self.
