Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through Neville's lens, the burial is the letting go of the old self in your inner life, the crucifixion of fear, doubt, and limitation within awareness. The phrase 'rose again the third day' is not a calendar event but the moment your consciousness awakens to a new state—a fresh sense of being that feels inevitable and complete. 'According to the scriptures' points to an inner law: imagination precedes form, and when you dwell in the end result of your desire, it becomes your concrete experience. Thus, resurrection is the turn of attention from lack to the affirmed I AM presence, the sense that life and renewal are now, not later. The third day marks a passage from the night of old beliefs to the dawn of a new conviction, a recognition that your inner state is the governor of outer events. When you inhabit this risen state, your thoughts, feelings, and appearances align to reveal the new life you already hold within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, I am the risen self now. Picture the old self buried and a bright third day dawn within me, filling me with renewed energy.
