Inner Resurrection: Death to Life
1 Corinthians 15:21-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 1 Corinthians 15 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul shows that death comes through Adam, while life comes through Christ. In Christ, all are made alive.
Neville's Inner Vision
Paul's stark contrast is not distant history but a map of your inner weather. Death in Adam is the turning away from the I AM, a belief that life is scarcity and endings; life in Christ is the recognition that your true self, your I AM, is eternally alive and undying. When you acknowledge Christ as the living idea within you, the old man dissolves into light and you are made alive in a moment of revised consciousness. This resurrection is not a future event to be prayed for; it is a present shift in what you accept as real. The body, the world, even time itself shifts as you stop identifying with the dream of death and begin identifying with the reality of life that God breathes as you now. If you practice and persist in the inner recognition that I AM is your source, the apparent deadness yields to a vibrant energy, and your life becomes the expression of that awakened state.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the state, 'I AM alive in Christ now.' Feel the certainty of life coursing through you; repeat softly until the sense of separation dissolves.
