The Inner Resurrection Now

1 Corinthians 15:20-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Corinthians 15 in context

Scripture Focus

20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
1 Corinthians 15:20-22

Biblical Context

Christ has risen and is the firstfruits; as Adam brought death, Christ brings life to all in him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Paul speaks in symbol, but Neville hears it as a present-state announcement. The risen Christ is the inner life of your I AM, proof that consciousness can outgrow any belief in death. Death is simply a long-standing thought in the mortal mind; resurrection is not future weather but a shift of premise—accepting that you are already alive in the Christ within. In Adam all die because the sense of separation is strong; in Christ all shall be made alive because the divine idea of you is consciousness itself. The firstfruits show you may begin with a taste of that life today, a spark that asks you to inhabit it fully. When you align with this inner fact, your outer world begins to reflect it, as if your life has awakened to its true source. This is not a doctrine to be argued, but an experiential revision: assume the nature of your risen self, and the world will answer from your new premise.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the risen Christ within you; repeat, 'I am alive in Christ,' and feel the new vitality moving in your chest until the old fear dissolves.
