Remembering Salvation Within

1 Corinthians 15:2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Corinthians 15 in context

Scripture Focus

2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:2

Biblical Context

Salvation is tied to consciously remembering the gospel you were taught. If that memory dries up or is not lived, the belief is in vain.

Neville's Inner Vision

To Paul, 'saved' is not a ticket earned in time but a state of consciousness realized here and now. The clause 'By which also ye are saved' points to the power of memory—the inner act of holding the truth steady in the mind until it becomes your living atmosphere. When you dwell on the preached message with unwavering attention, you awaken the I AM within you to its own authority; you stop identifying with lack or doubt and begin identifying with the promised life. The danger of 'believed in vain' is mere habit of memory that falters, allowing old pictures to replace the new reality. In Neville's terms, the moment you assume the consciousness that has already received salvation, you set in motion the imaginal act that changes the outer. Your inner awareness, not external facts, determines the state you inhabit. Therefore, salvation is not future salvation from sin but present alignment with truth; memory is the door through which that alignment returns to you, time and again, as your own breathing reality.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and replay the truth you were taught, and feel it as your current I AM. Let this memory revise your sense of self until 'saved' becomes your immediate reality.
