The Gospel You Stand In
1 Corinthians 15:1 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 1 Corinthians 15 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul proclaims the gospel he preached, which you have received and in which you stand. It is a present condition, not merely future hope.
Neville's Inner Vision
The verse redefines the gospel as a current state of consciousness, not a distant event. Brethren, the inner circles of your being recognize a living truth: you have received the gospel and you stand in it right now. The declaration is an intimate assertion that your awareness itself is the channel through which the good news operates. To receive the gospel is to consent to a state you already inhabit, and to stand in it is to live from that state in every thought, feeling, and action. This is not a future attainment but a present condition that shapes your world as you assume it. The gospel becomes your operating principle, your I AM, your awareness in motion. Imagination is the tool that makes this inner reality visible; dwell in the knowledge that you are already that which you seek, and your outer experience will align with the truth you declared. The inner communal sense of brethren mirrors your own inner unity, the self in alignment with the gospel truth you have accepted and stand within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you have already received the gospel and stand in it now. Feel the certainty of that state, then revise any belief of lack by affirming, I am the gospel; I stand in it now.
