Inner Arrival of Perfection

1 Corinthians 13:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 1 Corinthians 13 in context

Scripture Focus

10But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
1 Corinthians 13:10

Biblical Context

Plain sense: When the complete, perfect state arrives, the partial or limited aspects of being fade away. What remains is the one, unchanging consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the verse asks you to notice a state, not a distant event. The 'perfect' is the complete I AM, the unwavering sense of being that does not wobble with appearance or lack. When you entertain this as already true, you begin to disidentify from the 'part'—the hopes, fears, and fragmentary functions of the old self. In that moment, the inner movements of consciousness shift; prophecy and promise crystallize as you discern truth from within rather than chase it in outward forms. The 'part' comes to be seen as a signal of limitation, and thus it is dissolved by the light of your established Presence. Perfection does not battle the partial; it simply overshadows it with the realization that God is the I AM here and now. So faithfulness becomes the daily obedience to that inner sight: to keep returning to the presence, to feel as if the whole kingdom is already yours, and to watch as the outer becomes a reflection of the inner certainty.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the state of the complete I AM now. Feel the partial self dissolving as you dwell in Presence and revise your day to align with that reality.
