Biblical Context
Paul declares that no part of the body can say it has no need of another. The feeble parts are necessary, the honored parts are honored, and there is no division when all care for one another.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your Corinthians passage invites you to discover that every part of the body, including those you deem feeble or unlovely, is essential. In the stillness of your consciousness, the eye, the hand, the head, and the feet are not separate persons but faculties of the one I AM, the self that never truly lacks. When you feel one part lacking, you are imagining separation; when you honor the feeblest part, you extend abundant grace to your entire being. God hath tempered the body together, giving more honor to that part which lacked, so there can be no schism. The suffering of one member is the suffering of all; the blessing of one is the blessing of all. Thus, unity is not an external arrangement but a vibration of awareness within. See that your outer life mirrors the inner alignment: you are not divided from your neighbor, for neighbor and self are the same living idea, seeking expression through many forms. The call to love is a call to awaken to your own completeness in God, and to treat every appearance as a citizen of the same divine body.
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes and assume the identity I AM as the one body. Feel every part as sacred, especially those you once judged weak, and imagine them receiving abundant honor.
