Heresies Manifested Within

Read 1 Corinthians 11 in context

Scripture Focus

19For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
1 Corinthians 11:19

Biblical Context

There must be heresies among you. This serves to reveal who among you is approved.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the psychological reading, these 'heresies' are not outward gates of error; they are inner movements, clash of convictions within the soul. There must be such inner discord so that the state you have approved—your dominant belief of who you are—may stand forth and be recognized. 'Approved' refers to the state of consciousness you have given reality through imagination and attention. When you persist in a particular assumption, the other voices dissolve; the life you live will manifest the state you hold as real. The so‑called heresies act like a proving ground, not to punish you but to reveal the truth of your inner alignment. The word 'among you' points to the community of your own awareness: your thoughts, feelings, and choices. The Father within, your I AM, does not condemn but exposes, via contrast, which state rules. So the invitation is to treat inner disagreement as a diagnostic tool: acknowledge it, revise, and return to the single, unshakable sense of self that you accept as true. When you do, the manifest world aligns with the approved state.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM is the one true reality for you now, and feel that truth until it dominates your experience; when division thoughts arise, revise to 'there is only one consciousness here' and rest there.
