Read 1 Corinthians 10 in context

Scripture Focus

12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
1 Corinthians 10:12-13

Biblical Context

Paul warns that thinking you stand can invite a fall; temptations are common to all. Yet God is faithful and will provide a way to endure the trial.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you the I AM is always faithful, not merely watching but actively shaping your inner weather. When you think you stand, you unconsciously set a boundary in consciousness that invites a fall; temptation then arises as the old story reasserting itself. Yet the text offers a practical truth: temptations are not unique to you alone; they are the common dream, which you can wake from by changing your inner posture. The 'way to escape' is not a separate exit but a revision in your sense of self—an inner assumption that you are already free and intact. As you align with the one reality of your being—the I AM—you discover you can bear the moment because you are awareness itself, not the thought that passes through. Providence and Grace become tangible as you persist in this shift: a fresh image, a quiet trust, and the feeling that the door to peace was always open within. So persist: refuse to identify with the temptation, and persist in the certainty that you are the I AM, already standing, already safe.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, gently inhale, and declare 'I AM the I AM, and I am free now.' Then picture a bright doorway within your mind and step through it, feeling the relief of safety in you.
